The Power of Mind

Good morning everyone.  I just wanted to wish everyone a happy Tues.  For those of you who are about to travel for Thanksgiving, have a safe trip on your way to see friends and family.

It is the season to be thankful and I’m very thankful for what friends, family, and networkers such as yourselves.

In continuing with my goal to let you know about me, I’m going to share a bit more info with you.  I am a big believer in the power of the mind and that you get what you most think about—whether it be positive or negative.

The power of thought and mind is where everything starts.  Nothing made could not be made without thought or the movement of mind.

I recently signed up to begin my doctorate in metaphysical studies through the University of Sedona.  I’m really excited about the thing.  Just to give you an idea about thought and mind, I’ve had the prospectus for over a year.

It has been something that I’ve been “thinking” about for some time.  Now, things have moved from thought into actual manifestation.

So, the idea is that if you want something, hold it in your thought and continually think about it and seeing the outcome.  The universe will help bring about people and circumstance to make it a reality for you.

Since you will get what you most think about, it would be best to think about the things you want and not about the things you don’t want.  Often we give more energy and thought to things we don’t want and wonder why we get what we didn’t want.

I would like to get your feedback on the subject and how you have used it and what you have seen come about in your life.

The Ancient Hawaiian Teachings of Ho’oponopono

Self I-Dentity Through Ho’oponopono states that:

I operate my life and my relationships according to the following insights:

1.  The physical universe is an actualization of my thoughts.
2.  If my thoughts are cancerous, they create a cancerous physical reality.
3.  If my thoughts are perfect, they create a physical reality brimming with LOVE.
4.  I am 100% responsible for creating my physical universe the way it is.
5.  I am 100% responsible for correcting the cancerous thoughts that create a diseased reality.
6.  “There is no such thing as out there.”  Everything exists as thoughts in my mind and their feelings in my body.

THE BASIS OF Ho’oponopono:

We are 100% Responsible For The Problems of Others Who Come Be4 Us

To be an effective problem solver, the practitioner must be willing to be 100% responsible for having created the problem situation; that is, he or she must be willing to see that the source of the problem are erroneous thoughts & their feelings within him or her and are not within the ‘other’ person.

I find this process and technique very intruiging, so much so in fact, I read Joe Vitale’s book, Zero Limits, in a few hours and took away so much.

I intend to write more on this topic and hope to share some insights.  Post your comments and share with us how this technique has manifested great things in your life.

A friend of mine, Shakti, posted this bulletin on her Myspace page and I wanted to share it with you.  Does it feel like you’re experiencing what she wrote about?

Many of us are familiar with the experience of waking up to the fact that our lives are no longer working the way we have set them up. Sometimes this is due to a shift occurring inside ourselves over time, and sometimes it is part of the larger shift that is currently affecting all humanity. Change is happening at such an increased rate that it is difficult to predict what the future holds. As a result, many of the old ways of planning out a life are no longer applicable, and if we cling to them we feel strangely out of tune with reality. If we are in tune with the energies around us, we will begin to question ideas that just a few years ago seemed sensible.

In the simplest terms, the shift we are undergoing right now has to do with recognizing ourselves as being more than human, remembering that our earthly aspects are a very small part of who we are. In truth, we are multidimensional beings. When we begin to realize this, the life we planned for a limited conception of ourselves no longer fits. We must meet the needs and qualifications not only of our bodies but also of our souls. This realization dawns slowly for some and with the suddenness of a bolt of lightning for others, and we all must find the way that works for us to integrate this new and larger sense of self into our life plan.

Sometimes a drastic change feels totally right, and overnight we might decide to sell our home and move to another country or quit our job and begin a second career. Other times, we allow the changes to proceed slowly, beginning perhaps with allowing ourselves to dream of a new life or just to ask the deeper questions that encourage us to discover our true purpose in life. Either way, know that this process is a natural sign of the growth we are all going through, and trust it to guide you to the life of your dreams.

Much Love,
